The Bermuda Open Volleyball Tournament came to an end at the Warwick Academy Gymnasium.
The Kangaroos won the Gold Medal during the Bermuda Open Volleyball Championships with a 2 – 1 win over the Bermuda Red Team. The Kangaroos won the first game 25 – 20, the Bermuda Red Team won the second game 25 – 21 and the Kangaroos won the third game 17 – 15 to claim the title.
In the Women’s Bronze Medal match the Bermuda Blue’s defeated the Baltimore Bohs 2 – 1. The Bermuda Blue’s won the first game 25 – 18, before the Baltimore Bohs won the second game 25 – 15, but the Bermuda Blue’s would claw their way back to win the third and final game 15 – 12.
APEX Volley Ball won the Junior title with a 2 – 0 win over Creole. APEX Volleyball won the first game 25 – 22 and then closed out the match winning the second game 26 – 24.
In the Junior Bronze Medal match the MVA Juniors defeated the Bermuda Junior National Team 2 – 0. The MVA Juniors won the first game 25 – 17, before closing out the match winning the second game 25 – 20.
