ACT ran out 8-5 winners against BDA Spirits in a frantic, end-to-end clash that delivered a 13-goal feast in the lone Bermuda Ball Hockey fixture at the PC Hockey Rink.
In an explosive showcase of attacking intent, defensive caution was abandoned early as both sides traded fierce blows throughout the evening.
ACT set the benchmark going forward, with their firepower distributed across the roster. Anthony Kapsimalis and Sean McNulty led the charge for the victors, both netting twice in commanding displays around the crease.
Further strikes from Alex Bordage, Townie Jackson, Riley Latour, and Chris Merritt ensured ACT maintained a relentless scoring pace that ultimately proved decisive.
BDA Spirits produced an admirable fightback and repeatedly found cracks in ACT’s defensive line, spurred on by braces from both Jeff Loper and Shane Matchett.
Charlie Thorpe also found the target to keep the Spirits in striking distance, but ACT's ruthless finishing at key junctures kept their opponents at arm's length to secure all the spoils from a breathless contest.
