A thrilling night of Bermuda Ball Hockey Association action produced a 22-goal feast at the PCC Hockey Rink, headlined by an eight-goal spectacle from CG and a hard-fought win for Alexandra Mosher.
In the opening clash of the double-header, CG edged Hamilton Princess 8-7 in an extraordinary, end-to-end goal fest that saw defences repeatedly breached.
Both sides unleashed fierce attacking firepower, with matching hat-tricks across both rosters. Jeremy Estey and Kevin Albrecht were the driving forces for CG, each firing home three times to pace their side's offensive barrage. Adam Fenos and Cameron De Ste-Croix added a goal apiece to complete the tally and guide CG over the line.
Hamilton Princess mounted a relentless fightback, pushed forward by trebles from Matthew Ingleman and Matt Macphail, alongside a lone strike from Robbie Bailey. Despite their seven-goal haul, Princess were unable to snatch a share of the points in a breathless finale.
The second fixture delivered a tighter, more tactical affair, but no shortage of drama as Alexandra Mosher edged Spine & Sport 4-3.
Louis Sujir led the charge for Alexandra Mosher with a decisive brace, while Chris Cairns and Greg Van Der Made contributed crucial single strikes to keep their opponents at bay.
Spine & Sport pushed them right to the final buzzer, with Jake Fenske netting twice and James Amaral also on target, but Alexandra Mosher held firm in the dying minutes to seal a well-earned victory.
