Game One

The opening encounter highlighted the visitors' prowess from set-pieces, as they utilized a series of clinical penalty corners to dismantle the Bermudian defense.
Ava Michael proved to be the standout performer in the first match, netting a remarkable hat-trick of penalty corner goals. She opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, and although Bermuda’s Izzy Pugh responded with a well-taken penalty corner of her own in the 34th minute to briefly level the score, the visitors quickly pulled away.
Michael added two more in quick succession before Sarah Schaffer rounded off a 4-1 victory with another set-piece strike in the 41st minute.
Game Two
National Training Squad 1 Alvernia University 2
The second meeting was a much tighter affair as the Bermuda National Training Squad tightened their defensive structure. Alvernia took an early lead in the sixth minute through Alessandra Stevens, who converted yet another penalty corner. Bermuda showed significant character to fight back, and their persistence was rewarded in the 29th minute when Jen Chisnall found the net with a fine field goal to bring the scores level at the interval.
However, parity lasted only two minutes into the second half. Ava Michael once again proved to be the thorn in the home side’s side, scoring her fourth goal of the series—this time from open play—to restore the visitors' lead. Despite a late surge from the Bermudian squad, Alvernia held firm to record a 2-1 win and sweep the series. The tour provides vital international exposure for the local training squad as they prepare for a busy 2026 regional calendar.
