Bermuda’s own Blake Montgomery is calling on Wisconsin fans to head to the Kohl Center this Friday for a special "Chuck-A-Puck" charity event as the Badgers take on Alaska-Anchorage.
Freshman forward Montgomery, who recently helped the second-ranked Badgers secure their place in the Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off championship game, is using his platform to support local youth. The event, presented by BMO, aims to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County.
Fans attending the 7 p.m. puck drop are encouraged to bring new or gently used recess equipment to donate. For every item contributed—including footballs, basketballs, or jump ropes—fans will receive a puck to throw onto the ice at the conclusion of the game.
"It's an easy way to give back and have some fun," Montgomery said. "For every item you donate, you get a puck to throw on the ice at the end of the game for a chance to win awesome Badger Hockey prizes."
The stakes for the post-game toss are high, with a range of exclusive prizes up for grabs:

Attendees can also make monetary contributions to the cause, with every $20 donation or item purchased from the organization's Amazon wishlist earning a puck for the contest. A maximum of five pucks per person will be issued to ensure a fair competition for the top-tier rewards.
The Badgers enter Friday’s contest in formidable form, holding an impressive 13-2-2 record. With a chance to support local kids and win big, Montgomery and his teammates are hoping for a sell-out crowd in Madison.
