IslandStats.com
A high-octane double-header in the Bermuda Ball Hockey League at the PCC Hockey Rink produced a remarkable total of 22 goals, with both Positive Image Dental and Hamilton Princess securing high-scoring victories in a night dominated by attacking flair.

Spine & Sport 6 Positive Image Dental 8

The opening game saw Positive Image Dental overcome Spine & Sport in a tight contest, prevailing with an 8-6 victory.

The first period was a cautious affair, ending 1-1 with goals from Positive Image Dental’s Kevin Albrecht and Spine & Sport’s Christopher Merritt. The pace exploded in the second period, yielding five goals for Positive Image Dental and two more for Spine & Sport. Positive Image Dental took control with two goals from Josh Prodger, one more from Albrecht, and a marker from Satish Balendran. Spine & Sport’s Merritt completed a second-period hat-trick to keep his team close.

Merritt scored his fourth goal in the third period, alongside strikes from Greg Van Der Made and Rob Osborne. However, a quick-fire double from Albrecht and a final goal from Louis Sujir ensured Positive Image Dental held on for the 8-6 win, with Albrecht finishing as the game's top scorer with four goals.

ACT 3 Hamilton Princess 5

The second game saw Hamilton Princess defeat ACT 5-3.

Hamilton Princess took an early lead in the first period with goals from Jeremie Faucher and Mathew Benson. ACT fought back in the second, with Shane Matchett and Townie Jackson finding the back of the net.

However, Mathew Benson took over, scoring three consecutive goals in the second period to complete his personal tally of four for the game, giving Hamilton Princess a dominant 5-2 lead.

Townie Jackson scored his second goal for ACT in the third period, but it was not enough to overcome the deficit, leaving the final score 5-3 to Hamilton Princess.
