The Bermuda Ball Hockey Winter League season continues at the PCC Hockey Rink, with the standings showing a tight three-way battle at the top and Hamilton Princess’s JM Tremblay leading the league’s scoring charts.
Positive Image Dental currently leads the league with 13 points. However, the battle for the top spot is intense, with two other teams—Hamilton Princess and ACT—close behind, tied with 12 points apiece. This ensures a highly competitive race as the season progresses.
The individual points and goals races are being led by a trio of star players:
JM Tremblay from Hamilton Princess is the overall leader in Points with 19 points.
Shane Matchett from ACT follows closely with 18 points.
Louis Sujir from Positive Image Dental is in third place with 17 points.
Tremblay is also the outright league-leading goalscorer with 13 goals. He is being chased by Dallas Montgomery from CG, who has 12 goals, while Ross Rufiange (Positive Image Dental) and Sam Vieira (ACT) are tied with 8 goals each.
The goaltending department is equally competitive, judged by the Goal Against percentage per game:
J. Riggnas from ACT and Yves Paul from Hamilton Princess share the lead with an identical 4.00% Goal Against per game average.
Derrick Holmes from CG is close behind in second place with a 4.32% average.
C. Thilbault from BDA Spirits rounds out the top goaltenders with a 4.33% average.
The tight margins in both the standings and individual statistics suggest the Winter League season will be hotly contested.
