The opening fixture saw a dominant display as Hamilton Princess completely shut out Alexandra Mosher with a resounding 6-0 victory.
Hamilton Princess took a commanding 3-0 lead in the first period, thanks to a brace from Mathew Benson and the first of the night for Jean-Michael Tremblay.
Tremblay was the lone scorer in the second period, extending the lead to 4-0. He completed his impressive hat-trick in the third period, scoring the final goal after Bill Calko had also found the back of the net, sealing a comprehensive victory for Hamilton Princess.
BDA Spirits 5 ACT 8
The nightcap delivered a goal frenzy, with ACT eventually outscoring BDA Spirits in a high-scoring 8-5 thriller.
ACT established an early advantage, leading 3-1 at the end of the first period with goals from Anthony Kapsimalis, Ben Wilshaw, and Luca Papania. Andrew Bonner got the lone reply for BDA Spirits.
ACT extended their lead further in the second period, outscoring BDA Spirits 3-1 to make it 6-2. Bonner scored his second for BDA Spirits, but goals from Samuel Vieira, Townie Jackson, and Chris Cairns kept ACT firmly in control.
Despite BDA Spirits mounting a comeback in the final period, outscoring ACT 3-2 with strikes from Nathan Ische, Ryan Marshall, and Mathieu Ingelman, it was not enough. Vieira added his second of the game for ACT, alongside a goal from James Amaral, ensuring ACT claimed the 8-5 victory.
