The Mixed Majors Bowling League season has officially gotten underway at the Warwick Lanes, with a number of teams starting their campaigns with hard-fought victories.
In the opening match, Spare Change secured a 13-7 win over the Unpredictable. In the tightest contest of the night, the MiniMax Forwarders edged out Fight Back in a nail-biting 10 ½ - 9 ½ battle.
Elsewhere on the lanes, the Mix Ups defeated the Warriors 13-7, and the Activators had the most dominant performance of the night, defeating the Movers "N" Shakers 17-3. The results set the stage for a competitive season ahead, with a mix of convincing wins and narrow margins on the opening day.
