The Bermuda Softball League playoffs continued its high-octane action last night at the Michael Preece Softball Diamond, delivering yet another triple-header packed with runs and excitement.
In the opening game, the Pitch Invaders defeated the Bad News Beers 17-13. Konteri Fox was the standout performer for the Pitch Invaders, going 3 for 4 from the plate with a double and driving in four RBIs. For the Bad News Beers, Justin Watts contributed with a double and three RBIs from his 2 for 3 outing.
The second game of the night saw the Oddballs secure a 17-9 victory over the One Hit Wonders. Dustin Luck was a key figure for the Oddballs, going 2 for 4 from the plate, including a home run and five RBIs. Harry Andrews hit a home run and drove in two RBIs for the One Hit Wonders.
The final game of the night delivered a solid win for Home None, who defeated the Southampton Rangers 14-7. Matt McPhail continued his impressive form for Home None, going a perfect 4 for 4 from the plate. His stellar night included a double, a home run, and five RBIs. For the Southampton Rangers, Jahmori Beach connected for a home run and three RBIs.
These results further intensify the Bermuda Softball League playoffs, as teams battle through the knockout stages towards the coveted championship title.
