Bad News Beers Pour It On Against Fundamental Standpoints
In the opening game, the Bad News Beers continued their strong form by defeating the Fundamental Standpoints 22-11. Jannis Roberts was a key offensive force for the Bad News Beers, going 3 for 5 from the plate and driving in an impressive 6 RBIs. For the Fundamental Standpoints, Dylan Somerville battled hard, going 3 for 4 with two home runs and 5 RBIs, but it wasn't enough to prevent the loss.
Odd Balls Dominate BGA in 50-Run Thriller
The second game of the night was an absolute run-fest, as the Odd Balls delivered a dominant batting display to defeat BGA 30-20. Dustin Luck was the undisputed star for the Odd Balls, going a sensational 5 for 6 from the plate, including two doubles, two home runs, and a remarkable 11 RBIs. For BGA, Dujuan Simons put in a valiant effort, going 4 for 5 with three doubles, a triple, and 5 RBIs, but even his strong performance couldn't match the Odd Balls' overwhelming offense.
