IslandStats.com
The crack of the bat and the cheers of the crowd echoed around the Michael Preece Softball Diamond as the Bermuda Softball season roared back into action with a thrilling triple header, producing a staggering 73 runs across the three contests.

The opening clash set the tone for the evening as Home None powered past the Power Pitches with a dominant 22-6 victory. Home None's Ed Willis was in sensational form, going a perfect 5 for 5 at the plate, including a double, two triples, and driving in an impressive five runs. Despite the loss, Dylan Summerville provided some fireworks for the Power Pitchers, going 3 for 4 with a double, a home run, and four RBIs.

The second encounter of the night saw the Southampton Rangers emerge victorious over the Western Stars Angels with a 13-5 scoreline. Charles Trott led the charge for the Rangers, going 3 for 4 with a powerful home run and three RBIs. For the Western Stars Angels, Angie Mataeo managed a double and two RBIs in her 1 for 3 outing at the plate.

The nightcap provided the closest and most dramatic affair as the Rainbows edged out the PHC Zebras in a high-scoring 14-13 thriller. Jade Weaver was a standout for the Rainbows, going 4 for 5 with a double, a home run, and four RBIs. Not to be outdone, the PHC Zebras' Tache King went 2 for 4, hitting a double, a triple, and also driving in four runs in a valiant effort that ultimately fell just short.

The resumption of the Bermuda Softball season has clearly ignited the offensive firepower across the league, promising more exciting action under the lights at the Michael Preece Diamond.
