Week 28 of the Commercial Bowling League at Warwick Lanes saw the top contenders continue their battle for supremacy, with both the league leaders and the chasing pack securing victories.
League leaders Who Gives A Split faced a tough test against third-placed Pin Heads but ultimately emerged with a 3-1 victory, maintaining their position at the summit. Meanwhile, second-placed Secret Weapons also secured a 3-1 win, overcoming fourth-placed Too Legit To Split, ensuring the pressure remains on the league leaders.
Elsewhere in the league, ninth-placed Sweet Life enjoyed a bye week, while seventh-placed Butt & Vallis recorded a 3-1 victory over eighth-placed Spare Parts. The mid-table clash between fifth-placed Bailey’s Bay Strikers and sixth-placed Strike Force also resulted in a 3-1 win for Bailey’s Bay Strikers.
The latest results in the Commercial Bowling League indicate a tight battle at both ends of the table, with the top teams continuing to trade blows and those in the middle and lower sections fighting for crucial points as the season progresses.
