The first game of the night saw Positive Image Dental secure a 4-2 victory over Frontier.
Positive Image Dental took an early lead in the first period, with Andrew Leavy finding the net. Shane Matchett quickly doubled their advantage. However, Frontier fought back, scoring two unanswered goals through Johny Talbot to level the score at 2-2.
Positive Image Dental regained the lead in the second period, with Shane Matchett scoring his second goal. Craig Rowan then extended their lead to 4-2.
The third period remained goalless, with Positive Image Dental holding on to secure the 4-2 win.
BDA Spirits 2 Appleby 1
The second game of the night was a low-scoring thriller, with BDA Spirits edging out Appleby 2-1.
Appleby took an early 1-0 lead in the first period, with Rob Osborne scoring the opening goal. BDA Spirits responded in kind, drawing level with a goal from Brett Sherriffs.
The decisive goal came in the third period, with Jeff Loper scoring the winner for BDA Spirits, securing a narrow 2-1 victory.
