Week 21 of the Continental Bowling League at Warwick Lanes saw exciting action and shifting positions in the standings. The Invaders, currently in ninth place, received a bye this week.
New Hope, sitting in sixth place, delivered a strong performance to defeat eighth-placed Sunset 23-4. Meanwhile, the third-placed Cubs secured a comfortable 18-9 victory over the fifth-placed Astronauts.
League leaders Under Dawgs continued their impressive run, overcoming seventh-placed Odd Balls 16-11 to maintain their position at the top of the table. Second-placed Nifty Rollers bounced back with a resounding 25-2 win against fourth-placed Spicenix, closing the gap on the leaders.
With the season drawing to a close, the competition in the Continental Bowling League is heating up. The Under Dawgs will be looking to hold onto their lead, while Nifty Rollers will be aiming to close the gap and challenge for the top spot.
