Day Two of the Nike Boston Volleyball Festival saw Bermuda's teams back in action at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, with varying degrees of success.
The Big Wave Riders Under-16 boys' team had a difficult day, losing all three of their Round Two matches. They fell to Sportime 16 team 25-19, 23-25, 15-10, Western Mass 16 AC Kopa 25-21, 25-22, and Princeton 16 Boys 3 team 25-25, 25-14, 15-8.
The Big Wave Riders Under-14 boys' team had a mixed day. They lost their opener to FURY Boys 14 team 24-26, 25-10, 25-13 but then bounced back with a win against CSVC 13 Panthers 25-13, 16-25, 25-20.
The Paradise Hitters Under-16 girls' team enjoyed a successful Round Two, winning both of their matches. They defeated Starlings GH 16 team 25-14, 25-23 and New York Elite 16 White 25-12, 25-18.
The Paradise Hitters 14 Girls Blue team also had a positive day, winning two of their three matches. They started with a win against DJVBC 14 Navy 25-23, 25-15, then lost to NY Warrior Attack 25-18, 25-17, and finished the day with a win over Jaguars 14 Black 25-22, 25-16.
The Paradise Hitters 14 Grey Girls team had a more challenging day. They lost their opener to LI Surge 14 Premier 25-10, 25-19 but then rallied to defeat Avidity 14 Emerald 25-16, 25-19. They finished the day with a loss to Maine Jrs 14-Bronze 25-9, 25-10.
Finally, the Paradise Hitters Under-12 girls' team had a mixed day. They lost their first match to CORE NJ 12 Platinum 25-18, 25-21 and their second to SMASH 12 team 25-11, 25-9. They ended the day on a high note with a win over LI Surge 12 team 25-9, 25-16.
