Second-placed Pin Heads delivered a resounding statement of intent, comprehensively dismantling league leaders Who Gives A Split 4-0. The dominant performance closes the gap at the summit to a single point, setting up a thrilling second half of the season.
Pin Heads, who have been breathing down the necks of Who Gives A Split for weeks, produced a clinical display, denying their rivals any foothold in the match. The clean sweep not only underlines their title credentials but also throws down the gauntlet to the reigning leaders, who will be looking to respond quickly.
Elsewhere in the league, third-placed Secret Weapons maintained their push for honors with an equally emphatic 4-0 shutout of eighth-placed Too Legit To Split. The victory keeps them firmly in the hunt, although they will need to find consistency if they are to challenge the top two.
In other results, fourth-placed Bailey’s Bay Strikers edged out fifth-placed Sweet Life 3-1 in a closely contested encounter. The win will give the Strikers renewed hope of climbing the table, while Sweet Life will be looking to bounce back from this setback.
