Ball Hockey League Returns with a Flurry of Goals

The Bermuda Ball Hockey Winter League roared back into action after a series of rainouts, treating fans to a goal-fest at the PCC Hockey Rink.

A total of 24 goals were scored across two exciting matches, showcasing the attacking talent within the league.

BDA Spirits 12 Frontier 3

In the opening game, BDA Spirits delivered a dominant performance, defeating Frontier 12-3.

Andrew Bonner and Robbie Bailey led the scoring with impressive hat-tricks, while Jean-Michael Tremblay found the back of the net twice. Jeff Loper, Ben Wilshaw, Jennifer Toope, and Patrick Bousfield also contributed with a goal each.

For Frontier, James Amaral, Johny Talbot, and John Duda each scored a consolation goal.

Appleby 6 ACT 3

The second match saw Appleby secure a 6-3 victory over ACT in another high-scoring affair.

Nathan Ische spearheaded Appleby's attack with two goals, while Mathieu Desjardins, Andrew Kuzma, Chris Merritt, and Jeff Morash all added a goal apiece. Mike Travis bagged a brace for ACT, and John King scored their other goal.

This goal-laden double-header provided plenty of entertainment for the fans, highlighting the competitive spirit and offensive firepower within the league. With the season back underway, the race for playoff positions is sure to intensify, promising more thrilling encounters in the weeks to come.
