Bermuda's men's bowling team bowed out of the IBF World Cup in Hong Kong after a hard-fought battle against Saudi Arabia in the Round of 16.

Taking to the lanes at the Kai Tak Sports Park Bowling Center, the Bermudian team faced a tough challenge against a strong Saudi Arabian outfit.

The match proved to be a closely contested affair, with both teams exchanging blows. Saudi Arabia narrowly edged the first game 191-187, but Bermuda responded with a determined performance in the second game, winning 210-182 to level the match.

However, Saudi Arabia regained the lead in the third game, winning 184-161. They then sealed their victory with a convincing 200-132 win in the fourth game, securing a 3-1 triumph and ending Bermuda's World Cup hopes.

Despite the defeat, Bermuda's bowlers can take pride in their overall performance in the tournament. They showcased their skill and resilience throughout the group stages to reach the knockout rounds, demonstrating their ability to compete against some of the world's best.

While their World Cup journey has come to an end, this experience will undoubtedly serve as valuable preparation for future international competitions. The Bermudian team will be looking to build on their performance in Hong Kong and continue to represent their nation with pride on the world stage.
