Owen Curley's impressive four-goal performance propelled the Griffins to a 4-2 victory over the Ravens in a thrilling Bermuda Field Hockey encounter at the National Sports Center.
Despite blustery conditions, both teams produced an entertaining and action-packed match. The Ravens drew first blood in the 23rd minute, with Lucy Tucker finding the back of the net from a field goal.
However, the Griffins responded quickly, equalizing in the 31st minute through Owen Curley, who converted a penalty corner. Curley then added a second goal just four minutes later, giving the Griffins a 2-1 lead.
The Ravens refused to back down and levelled the score in the 43rd minute with a field goal from Meagan Troake. But Curley proved unstoppable, completing his hat-trick in the 53rd minute with another field goal to put the Griffins back in front.
He then sealed the victory with his fourth goal of the game in the 60th minute, securing a well-deserved win for the Griffins.
