Sean Tucker and Kyle Hamilton wrapped up their campaign at the ninth and final stage of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour in San José, Costa Rica, with a hard-fought battle against St. Kitts and Nevis in the 15th/16th place match.
The Bermudian duo faced Julian Bristol and Jedediah Pencheon on the sand courts of La Sabana Metropolitan Park, looking to end their tournament on a high note. The match proved to be a rollercoaster of momentum swings, with both teams showcasing their skills and determination.
Tucker and Hamilton started strong, claiming the first set 21-18. However, Bristol and Pencheon responded with a surge of their own, taking the second set by the same scoreline to level the match. The decisive third set saw the St. Kitts and Nevis pair take control, ultimately securing a 15-7 victory and the 15th place finish.
Despite the loss, Tucker and Hamilton can hold their heads high after a challenging tournament against top competition from across North, Central America, and the Caribbean. They battled hard in every match, gaining valuable experience on the international stage.
