IslandStats.com
Blake Montgomery and his London Knights teammates continued their imperious form with a resounding 6-0 victory over the Peterborough Petes at the Peterborough Memorial Center. Aleksei Medvedev was the hero between the pipes, recording an impressive 31 saves for his first Ontario Hockey League shutout.

The Knights, now riding a 16-game winning streak, were relentless in their attack, scoring two goals in each period to secure a comfortable victory.

The scoring started in the first period when Sam Dickinson's pinpoint pass found Will Nicholl, who expertly split two defenders before sliding a backhand shot between the legs of Peterborough goalie Easton Rye. The Knights doubled their lead minutes later when Montgomery found Sam O'Reilly with a precise pass, allowing O'Reilly to deflect in his sixth goal of the season.

London's dominance continued in the second period with Nicholl netting his second of the game, assisted by Henry Brzustewicz. Landon Sim then added a power-play goal to give the Knights a commanding 4-0 lead heading into the final period.

The Knights refused to let up in the third, with Montgomery scoring his second career OHL goal after a neat pass from Sim. Noah Aboflan then capped off the scoring with his second career OHL goal, deflecting in a point shot by Noah Jenken.

Montgomery and Sim both finished the game with a goal and an assist, showcasing their offensive prowess.

The Knights outshot the Petes 38-31, highlighting their control throughout the match. This victory further solidifies their position as one of the top teams in the OHL.
