A late two-run home run and two scoreless innings from the bullpen helped the Montgomery Biscuits overcome a late threat from Adam Hall and his Biloxi Shuckers teammates in a 7-4 Shuckers’ loss at Keesler Federal Park.
Despite the loss, the Shuckers still maintain a 2.5-game lead over the Mississippi Braves for the final playoff spot in the South Division with 16 games remaining.
It was drama for center fielder Hall and the Shuckers in the 4th and 5th innings, after walking in the bottom half of the 4th inning, Hall was caught stealing 2nd, as the Shuckers came out for the top of the 5th inning Hall was ejected by 1B umpire Denver Dangerfield for making a comment.
