Bermuda is competing in the Ball Hockey Men’s World Championship in Switzerland.
Bermuda began Group B by taking on Lebanon going down 8 – 1, Bermuda’s lone goal came off the stick of Robbie Bailey.
Bermuda edged Cayman Islands 4-3 in overtime to pick up their lone win. Bermuda got single strikes from Chris Merritt, Christopher Hands-Jackson, and Shane Matchett during regulation, and Jeremy Estey scored the overtime winner.
In their very next match, Bermuda would fall 4-2 to France. Bermuda in their match would get goals from Hands-Jackson, and Estey.
In their Final Group B match Bermuda would fall 4 – 1 to Portugal, Merritt would strike Bermuda’s only goal of the match.
