The Second Week of competition in the Nike Boston Volleyball Festival concluded with three Bermuda teams taking part.
The Paradise Hitters Under 18 team played their final match versus Fusion Power. This was a very tight match with long rallies. Unfortunately, the team lost the match 25-20, 22-25, 15-9. Even though they didn’t win their final match the team made the program, coaches, and their parents very proud of their fight and determination. The team ended up placing 37th out of 62 teams.
Big Wave Riders Under 17 team had a successful day winning their two matches. They came together on the last day showing strong volleyball and making great plays.
They defeated SOSVBC 25-15,25-14, and then they defeated Sport Time 25-22, 25-16. The team placed 24th out of 36 teams.
The Big Wave Riders Under 18 team played exceptionally well by cutting down their errors and making big play moments when the team needed it. They really gelled on the court and showed Boston and these teams how strong their skills have become.
They defeated the MASS Patriots 25-23, 25-18, and then they defeated the Legacy Boys 25-18, 25-18, they finished 36th out of 40 teams.
