The Men’s & Women’s segment of the Eastern Caribbean Volleyball Association (ECVA) Senior Beach Volleyball Tournament got underway at the Cul de Sac Bay, in St Lucia.
In Men’s Group B, Bermuda’s Kyle Hamilton and Benjamin Barnett defeated Mingo and Fredrick, 2-1, Bermuda would fall in the first game 21-16, but Hamilton and Barnett would bounce back to win the next two games 21-8, 15-13.
Meanwhile, in the Women’s Group B, Bermuda pair Megan Hands and Hailey Moss, would fall to St Lucian pair of Denila Prospere and Chenao Evans 21-9, 21-14.
Hands and Moss would play a second game on the opening day, they would defeat St Vincent and the Grenadines pair Shanadia Sylvester and Saquanna Duncan 21-13, 21-12.
