The Pink Robins would jump out to an early lead, but in the end they were forced to hold off the Sandpipers.
The Pink Robins got a Field Goal off the stick of Lexi D’Angelo in the first minute of play, in the 10th minute Emma Ranger doubled the lead with a Field Goal.
Jennifer Chisnall would extend the Pink Robins lead to 3 – 0, with a Field Goal in the 20th minute and then D’Angelo would make it 4 – 0 in the 30th minute.
In the 55th minute the Sandpipers would begin their fight back with a Field Goal off the stick of Dominique Brown, and five minutes later Brown would score her second Field Goal of the game, but they would not find the back of the net anymore in the final ten minutes of play.
Mixed A Team 7 budgies 2
The Mixed A team would get a hat-trick from Lucy Bridges as they defeated the Budgies 7 – 2. Grace Edy would also score twice, with James Morgan and Alivia Venning adding a goal each.
The Budgies got single strikes from Alyssa DeSilva and Samantha Davies.
