Appleby has taken a 1 – 0 lead in the Bermuda Ball Hockey Play-off Series Final following their 4 – 2 win over Alexandra Mosher at the PCC Hockey Rink.
Alexandra Mosher took the lead in the First Period with a goal off the stick of JM Tremblay, but Appleby would level the match at 11 – 1 in the First Period when Shannon Gosse scored.
In the Second Period Appleby would take a 2 – 1 lead when Andrew Kuzma scored, Matt Katzsch would then make it 3 – 1 to Appleby, before Bill Calko pulled a goal back for Alexandra Mosher to end the period with the score 3 – 2.
Gosse would score the lone goal in the Third Period to earn Appleby the 4 – 2 win.
