Positive Image Dental 4 Appleby 3
In the opener, Positive Image Dental needed a shoot-out goal to edge Appleby 4 – 3.
Positive Image Dental jumped out to a 3 – 1 lead at the end of the First Period with 2 goals from Christopher Merritt, and a single strike from Townie Jackson, while Curran Trenouth scored the lone goal for Applby.
Appleby would score the only goal in the Second Period off the stick of Ryan Marshall as they pulled within one, and then they leveled the match at 3 – 3 with a goal in the Third Period with a strike from Shannon Gosse.
In the shootout, Positive Image Dental would get the goal off the stick of Sean Mcnulty to earn the win.
Alexandra Mosher 5 Liberty Mutual 4
In the nightcap, Alexandra Mosher edged Liberty Mutual 5 – 4, both teams scored two goals in the First Period, Alexandra Mosher got 2 goals from JM Tremblay, while Liberty Mutual got a goal from Adam Fenos, and Marcel Bouwens.
Both teams would score a goal each in the Second Period to make it 3 – 3, Ian Beaudoin scored for Alexandra Mosher, while Bouwens added his second goal of the match for Liberty Mutual.
Tremblay completed his hat-trick, and Andrew Leavy scored the other for Alexandra Mosher to take a 5 – 3 lead in the Third Period, Bouwens completed his hat-trick with a goal for Liberty Mutual in the period, but they not find the equalizer.
