France 3 Bermuda 5
The 2022 ISBHF - International Street & Ball Hockey Federation Men’s World Championships continued with Bermuda taking on France.
Bermuda improved to 2 & 1 in the tournament picking up their second win defeating France 5 – 3.
France took the lead in the 2nd minute when Manuel Bornand scored, but Bermuda drew level in the 5th minute when Jeremy Estey scored, Chris Merritt put Bermuda in front in the 10th minute as they took a 2 – 1 lead to the break.
Bermuda extended the lead in the second period when Estey scored in the 20th minute, Estey then completed his hat-trick in the 28th minute giving Bermuda a 4 – 1 lead.
The lone goal of the third period came off the stick of Danick Bouchard in the 34th minute pulling France within two.
France pulled within one in the 41st minute when Hugo Dissegna scored, but Robbie Bailey restored the Bermuda two-goal lead in the 44th minute.
