Guelph Storm 2 Kelowna Rockets 6
In the opener the Kelowna Rockets defeated the Guelph Storm 6 – 2.
The Kelowna Rockets got 2 goals off the stick of Adam Mattatall, while Shane Matchett, Chris Coleman, Jon Talbot and Jeffrey Ingelman all added a goal each. JM Tremblay and Christopher Merritt scored a goal each for the Guelph Storm.
Red Deer Rebels 1 Calgary Hitmen 4
In the nightcap the Calgary Hitmen defeated the Red Deer Rebels 4 – 1. Jeff Morash and Jacob Marchant both scored twice for the Calgary Hitmen, while Warren Miller scored the lone goal for the Red Deer Rebels.
