The Bermuda Field Hockey Federation’s season resumed at the National Sports Center with a single game.
Budgies 6 Sandpipers 0
The Budgies defeated the Sandpipers 6 – 0 in the opener, 7 gave the Budgies the lead with a Field Goal in the 2nd minute, 6 doubled the lead with a Field Goal three minutes later. 6 would score her second Field Goal of the game and the Budgies 3rd in the 31st minute as they took a 3 – 0 lead to the break.
12 would make it a 4 goal game with a Field Goal in the 38th minute, 5 then would get her name on the scoresheet in the 41st minute with a Field Goal and then 11 closed out the scoring in the 45th minute with a Field Goal.
With the game already wrapped up, the talk of the match was the save the Sandpipers goalkeeper Christina Stephens Weser made in the final minutes of the game diving to her right to make a spectacular save (see video).
