The Vancouver Giants took a 1 - 0 series lead following their 4 - 1 win over the Sarnia Sting. Cameron Poland scored all four goals for the Vancouver Giants, while the lone Sarnia Sting goal came off the stick of Christopher Scott.
Game Two
Sarnia Sting 4 Vancouver Giants 3 - Over-Time
The Sarnia Sting entered the game down 1 - 0, but they took a 1 - 0 lead in the First Period with a goal off the stick of Mathieu Desjardins. The Vancouver Giants would go ahead 2 - 1 in the Second Period with back to back goals from Cory Caouette. In the Final Period the Vancouver Giants would go ahead 3 - 1 with a Warren Miller goal, but the Sarnia Sting would get two goals from Christopher Scott to send the game into Over-Time.
The Sarnia Sting got the all important goal in the Over-Time period off the stick of Jeff Morash.
