This game had a bit of everything, the Swallows took a 1 - 0 lead in the 2nd minute when Nicola Stoddart scored a Field Goal, but Jasmine Patterson equalized for the Budgies with a Field Goal in the 8th minute. Late in the match Swallows stalwart Liz Stewart went down with a suspected hamstring pull, while Jaselle Smith was taken to the hospital with a cut above her eye she sustained when the ball deflected off her stick and into her face, but that was not all as two players need calmer heads to resolve a heated moment in the Budgies half of the field.
