The Sarnia Sting defeated the Oshawa Generals 7 - 2 in the opener, the Sarnia Sting got 2 goals apiece from Jeff Morash and David Provost, while Adam Mattatall, Christopher Scott and Ross Rufiange all added a goal each. Jeffery Ingleman scored the two goals for the Oshawa Generals.
Sarnia Sting 10 Tri City Americans 1
A hat-trick off the stick of Ryan Sulley helped guide the Sarnia Sting to a 10 - 1 win over the Tri City Americans. The Sarnia Sting also got two goals apiece from Scott and Rufiange, with Provost, Scott Shannon and Felix Mill Plourde all added a single strike, Kevin Desilva scored the lone goal for the Tri City Americans.
Vancouver Giants 3 Halifax Mooseheads 4
Jeremy Estey scored a second period hat-trick to help guide the Halifax Mooseheads to a 4 - 3 victory over the Vancouver Giants, Jordan Gunter added the other goal, while the Vancouver Giants got Mckay Shane, Cameron Poland and Cory Caouette.
