The Bermuda Field Hockey Season was in full swing at the National Sports Center with a Women’s Division Triple Header that produced 14 goals.
Ravens 1 Budgies 0
In a top of the table clash the Ravens defeated the previously undefeated Budgies 1 - 0. After scoreless first half the Ravens got a Penalty Corner goal off the stick of Petal Toby in the 47th minute.
Swallows 6 Sandpipers 1
The Swallows took a 1 - 0 lead in the 5th minute through a Jo Heaney Field Goal, Heaney would double the lead two minutes later with her second Field Goal of the game. Kristina Head would pull a goal back for the Sandpipers in the 17th minute from a Penalty Corner, but Natash Hallinan would scored from a Penalty Corner two minutes later to restore the Swallows two goal lead. Helen Clarke would extend the Swallows lead to 4 - 1 in the 32nd minute with a Field Goal, Heaney would complete her hat-trick with a Field Goal in the 58th minute and Clarke would close out the scoring for the Swallows to record a 6 - 1 victory with a Field Goal in the 61st minute.
Longtails 1 Canaries 5
Within 14 minutes the Canaries had jumped out to a 3 - 0 lead over the Longtails, Abigail Mac Eachin scored from a Penalty Corner in the 2nd minute, Laura West Burt scored a Field Goal in the 10th minute and four minutes later Mac Eachin score her second from a Field Goal. The Longtails pulled a goal back in the 42nd minute when Selina Whitter scored from a Penalty Stroke, but a Field Goal off the stick of Kelly Lott in the 47th minute gave the Canaries a 4 - 1 lead and Estrenne Coetzee closed out the scoring with a Field Goal in the 70th minute.
