Week Two of the Bermuda Rugby Football Union's Ariel Re High School League Season took place at the National Sports Center.

113 points were put on the board in a Triple Header, with the biggest win of the evening coming in the third game that saw Saltus defeat the Berkeley Institute 34 - 0 in Under 18 Division action.

Under 16 Division

Berkeley Institute 14 Saltus 31


Cameron De Ste Croix led Saltus to victory with 3 Try’s, while Max De Ste Croix chipped in with 2 Try’s. Cameron De Ste Croix kicked 2 Conversions. The Berkeley Institute got single Try’s from Deylon Whitter and Jaedyn Clarke, while N’Adre Tuzo added a Conversion.

Under 18 Division

Bermuda Institute 17 Cedarbridge 17


This game saw Alex Doyling record all 17 points for the Bermuda Institute with 3 Try’s and a Conversion, while Isaiah Todd, Mikah Williams and Paulo Sousa all scored a Try, with Sousa also adding a Conversion.

Berkeley Institute 0 Saltus 34

For the second week in a row Saltus recorded a shutout, this time they defeated the Berkeley Institute 34 - 0. Cameron De Ste Croix picked up where he left off in the Under 16 game scoring 2 Try’s along with Neil Figueiredo, while Dylan Somerville and Max De Ste Croix added a Try each, Tyler Kendall kicked 2 Conversions.

Meanwhile the Bermuda Rugby Union will be hosting a touring side from the eastern United States with the New York Athletic Club (NYAC) Rugby visiting.

Two games are being organized for Friday February 17th against the Bermuda Under 19s and Sunday February 19th against a Bermuda Select side.

Both games will be played at National Sports Stadium and will be used as build up games for the RAN U-19 and Caribbean Championships.

National team coach Brain Archibold and BRFU Youth Development Officer Patrick Calow will be looking to combine up and coming youth players with some of National team veterans in what promises to be an entertaining weekend of rugby.
