Micah Franklin bowed out of the 3rd Edition of the BTMI Barbados Squash Open in the Quarter-Finals.
Franklin was taking on the Tournament’s number 3 seed Zac Alexander, who on the day before defeated Bermuda’s other competitor Noah Browne.
Franklin like Browne would take Alexander from Australia to five games, but Franklin would fall 3 – 2 in a match that lasted 54 minutes.
Alexander won the first game 11-1, he would go ahead 2 – 0 when he won the second game 11-8, but Franklin would fight back winning the third game 11-7, franklin would then level the match at 2 – 2 when he won the fourth game 11-8, but Alexander would prevail in the fifth and final game 11-4 to advance to the Semi-Finals.
