Dylan Muldoon and his No. 21 Nationally Ranked Bates Men's Squash teammates defeated No. 22 Amherst 6-3 in the Quarter-Finals, before giving two-time defending national champions Trinity all they could handle in an 8 - 1 loss in the Semi-Finals at the NESCAC Championships.
In the match against Amherst, Sophomore Muldoon got Bates off to a strong start. Muldoon defeated Arnav Parikh at the No. 9 position by a count of 3 – 1.
Muldoon would win 11-4, 5-11, 11-5, 11-9.
Muldoon would go down in three straight games in the match against Trinity in the number 9 spot.
Muldoon would fall to Martin Rios 11-6, 11-6, 11-4.
Bates will take on No. 17 Middlebury in the 3rd/4th place match. Trinity advances to the NESCAC Championships Final against Williams.
