Bermuda players began competing in the Canadian Junior Open Squash Tournament.
On Day One, in the Boy’s Under 13 Division Ethan Rosorea went down in straight games 13-11, 11-9, 11-4 to Canadian Calder Murray. Andrew Cox was defeated by Salmon Benoit from Canada 11-1, 11-2, 11-1. Owen Rosorea went down to Khan Faraaz from Canada 11-2, 11-1, 11-4.
In the Boy’s Under 17 Division, Matthew Elliott went down to Griffin Manley from Canada 11-1, 11-3, 11-5, while Charlie Riker defeated Charlie McDonald from Canada 12-10, 11-6, 11-1.
Josai Williams went down in his Boy’s Under 19 Division match 11-1, 11-2, 11-3 to Matt Bicknell from Canada, while Taylor Carrick went down in a five match battle 7-11, 11-2, 16-14, 6-11, 11-6 to Mitchell Kahnert from Canada.
Abigail Brewer went down in her Girls Under 17 Division match in straight games 11-4, 11-7, 11-3 to Nicole Temple from Canada.
