Barnes competing in the 125cc Shifter Class finished 3rd in the first Qualify Heat, before finishing 10th in the second Qualifier. Barnes would finish 6th in the first Heat Race in the Class.
Barnes also competed in the 206 Class, Barnes finished 8th in the Qualifier out of 34 karts, but he made a wrong gear change and finished Heat Race in 11th.
