Noah Browne bowed out of the $5,000 Men's Bitar Cosmetics Play Squash McLean Open, at the McLean Racquet & Health Club, McLean, Virginia, USA.
Browne took on the number 8 seed Babatunde Ajagbe from Nigeria going down in five matches.
Ajagbe won the first game 11 - 6, but Browne would level the match at 1 - 1 when he won the second game 11 - 7. Ajagbe would go ahead 2 - 1 with a lengthy third game win 18 - 16, but yet again Browne would fight back to win game four 11 - 3 to send the game to a fifth and final game.
Browne was unable to continue his form from the fourth game as he went down in the fifth game 11 - 4.
