Bermuda Junior Squash Team IslandStats.com Day Five of the Maples Caribbean Junior Squash Championships saw the team event continue at the South Sound Squash Club in Cayman Islands.
The Bermuda Girls fell 4 - 1 to Trinidad & Tobago, Trinindad took a 1 - 0 lead with Chloe Walcott defeating Ariana Lowther 11-8, 11-9, 8-11, 11-4, it was then 2 - 0 with Marie Claire Barcant defeating Madeleine Rose 11-5, 11-7, 11-1.
Tiye Williams went down to Faith Gillezeau 12-10, 11-9, 11-8 as Trinidad took a 3 - 0 lead, Bermuda would get on the board with Abigail Brewer defeating Jinan Al-Rawl 11-7, 11-5, 11-2, but Charlotte Toogood went down 11-2, 11-8, 11-8 to Alexandria Yearwood as Trinidad recorded the win.
The Bermuda Boys went down 3 - 2 to OECS, Bermuda went ahead 1 - 0 when Matthew Elliott defeated Luca Reich 11-6, 11-6, 13-11, it was 2 - 0 when Charlie Riker was awarded a win with no opponent to face.
Jacques Deverteuil went down 11-1, 11-7, 11-4 to Jason Doyle as OECS pulled a game back, the score was then level at 2 2 when Taylor Carrick was defeated 4-11, 11-8, 11-8, 11-3 by Kai Bentick and then Dylan Pratt was defeated 11-9, 11-13, 11-9, 11-5 by Mikal Quashie.
