Two of the International Development Academy Bermuda select teams departed L.F. Wade airport bound for Northern Ireland where they will compete in the Super Cup NI tournament.
The event, previously known as the Milk Cup and established in 1983, has grown to become one of the best youth tournaments in the world. The matches are played across a number of towns and venues, based largely around the countrys scenic north coast.

Bermuda will be represented by the IDA Select teams in the Under 14, Under 16 & Under 18 Divisions, featuring many of Bermudas top youth players from club and the national academy programs.
This year sees the return of the tournament after an absence of two years due to the covid pandemic, with top programs participating throughout the age groups including:

Under 16s
Manchester United (England), Leeds United (England), Atlante (Mexico), Rangers FC (Scotland)
Under 18s
Vende (France), Club Puebla (Mexico), Ipswich Town (England), Plymouth Argyle (England), San Francisco Glens (USA)
Tournament play begins on Monday July 25th, 2022 and each team is guaranteed five matches with various divisional championships contested after group play. The IDA Bermuda teams will be playing warmup matches against Northern Ireland county select and Surf USA teams over the next few days to tune up for the competition.
