Youngster Jaaziah Van-Lowe has been busy over in the UK, playing a part in four different games in four days.
On Thursday, Van-Lowe and his West Ham United Elite teammates defeated Colchester 6 – 2, Van-Lowe would share the goalkeeping duties and he would keep a clean sheet.
On Friday, Van-Lowe would then wear the strip of his Bowers & Pitsea teammates defeated Aveley 11 – 0 in the Mid-Week Cup Semi-Finals, Van-Lowe said, “We played like champs, and made it to the finals.”
Van-Lowe would quickly have to turn his attention back to West Ham United’s Under 13 team, they would fall 4 – 1 to Oxford Skills Academy. West Ham United dominated the game early until a defender got injured and was rushed to the hospital. The match was delayed for an hour, but when play resumed Van-Lowe and West Ham weren't as dominant which resulted in the final score. Once again Van-Lowe would share time in goal as he conceded one of eth four goals.
Finally, he suited up yet again for Bowers & Pitsea and they edged Billericay 3 – 2. Having previously defeated this team 5 – 0, they were determined not to let history repeat itself, and made this one much closer, both teams battled the entire match.
Van-Lowe said, “I am enjoying the journey, my advice to any upcoming athlete like myself is never to get too comfortable as that's when mistakes could happen. Work daily on molding your craft. Commitment and dedication are important.
