Ayleal Dill, Seke Spence, Mazhi Simmons, and their Ilkeston Town’s Under 23 teammates took on Sandiacre Town 1st Team at the New Manor Ground.
Mitchell Tait made a great switch ball over to Kieran Cummings whose shot was saved by the goalkeeper, Spencer followed up and chipped it lovely over the goalkeeper.
A dominant first half by the young Ilkeston team saw them go into the break ahead 1 – 0.
In the 52nd minute Ilkeston doubled the lead, original claims for a penalty after Dill was brought down in the box, was waived off by the referee, the ball went to the byline where Cummings regained possession, he put the ball back into the box for Dill who scored.
