Eva Frazzoni and her College of Saint Rose manufactured a 20-9 shot advantage to deliver head coach Laurie Darling Gutheil her 350th victory behind their 3-0 season-opening triumph against visiting Queens College.
Gutheil is now one of a mere 26 NCAA Women's Soccer Coaches at any level to reach that milestone.
Senior midfielder Sanja Ratkovic provided what proved to be the game-winner with just over 8 minutes gone when she drove home a rebound from inside the area. Thirty minutes later, senior forward Nina Predanic converted from the penalty spot to afford Saint Rose a 2-0 halftime lead.
Saint Rose, which had eight first-year players see action, got its third strike from junior forward Ciera Lundy who finished a loft over the top from senior midfielder Frazzoni in the 60th minute.
