Dequan Crockwell has spent a number of years playing in Football Academy’s in the UK, he is in Bermuda for a short visit and he sat down with www.islandstats.com to give us some insight in being a young Footballer in an Academy.
Crockwell said, “It is tough especially if you are new to a team, everyone is trying to advance and you are the new person and it could be intense.”
Crockwell concluded, “I would tell anyone that is trying to make it to the next level, Never Ever Give Up, it may not be the right team for you at the moment, but other doors will open.”
