The Gulf South Conference (GSC) announced that freshman Judah Chapman was named the Gulf South Conference Freshman of the Week.
The Devonshire, Bermuda native scored in his collegiate debut against Flagler College. His goal helped clinch a 2-0 season opening victory for Spring Hill College.
Chapman followed up his performance by scoring the equalizer in Spring Hill's 2-1 victory over #23 ranked University of Tampa.
Chapman makes the school history books as this is the first year that Spring Hill College are eligible for GSC conference awards as they have completed their transition to full NCAA membership.
