Nathan Trott started in goal as West Ham United Under 23’s took on Leicester City Under 23’s at the Chigwell Construction Stadium.
The game ended with West Ham United and Leicester sharing the points with a 0 – 0 draw. The first real chance of the game is for Leicester. A looping ball splits the West Ham defense and Harvey Barnes has a chance on goal, his initial shot is spilled by Trott but the goalkeeper then collects.
In the 28th minute Leicester's had a free-kick on the edge of the penalty area, which was taken by Harvey Barnes with a great effort, one that prompted a terrific save from Trott as it looked destined for the bottom corner.
In the 59th minute Leicester should have done more a defender moves the ball well, and plays a low pass into George Thomas, however the No11 could not connect though and Trott is there to collect.
66 minutes down and Ahmed Musa was close for Leicester! A high ball is well brought down by the striker, and although two defenders were there crowding him out, the No7 still got his shot away, Trott can only watch, but thankfully it goes wide of the far post again.
